![]() Welcome to the world of menswear.īut it sounds like your overall argument is this: in the even that everyone is required to wear one and only one specific thing, men usually get off easier however, when there are options open, women are the sex to be. You don't want to have to wear a specific thing. Is it the skirt suit you're objecting to, or the having to wear one particular type of clothes? Since you emphasized "HAVE", I assume the latter. I'd rather wear a pants suit in a 120 degrees than HAVE to wear a skirt suit. Definitely don't spread them apart at the knees. ![]() Back of the knees is the second worst place, after the face.Ĭross them with the knee over knee method or ankle over ankle. And my stomach, chest, lower back, armpits, arms, fingers, and feet. That being said, I do shave my legs in the Summer. I imagine that people would be less concerned about my hairy legs sticking out from a skirt than yours (as mine are kind of expected to be hairy). ![]() Doesn't make it right, it is an opinion after all, but I'm not going to chance it. Probably mixed in with a little "grass is always greener on the other side." But since I wear both regularly, I'm pretty solid in my opinion of what's better. Surely this entire conversation is a matter of opinion. I'll never spend more than $30 on a pair of shoes, men's or women's.īeing comfortable in a skirt suit is really a matter of opinion, imo The cheap ones really are, but the nice ones are arguably far nicer than women's shoes ever will be.Ĭouldn't tell you. I don't think that all men's dress shoes are clunky though. but love me some flared sleeveless business dresses for my wardrobe, so versatile! I had to take out my tiny labret piercing for this job. Except in my department makeup is minimal or skipped altogether because it's mostly Japanese. I work in a corporate environment where presentation is important too. And I always wear ballet flats (I have the exact same ones in several colors) in summer and boots in winter excepting meetings where I have a couple pairs of heels in my desk. It gets cold in my office so I always have a pashmina handy. Seriously, I wear the same stuff constantly but mix and match dresses, singlets (or fitted tshirt or longsleeve top), cardigans, belts, pashminas and shoes so it doesn't look like I only have 7 outfits. I wear a belt on my waist to clip my ID tag to (you have to wear it at all times and can't get very far in the office without one anyway) and variations on this ensemble is basically my personal work uniform. ![]() Most of them have pockets too which is probably why I wear them all the time. I wear long singlets underneath that protect the dress from getting all dangy and (depending on cut) provide some contrast to the bodice area or help cover cleavage. I used to wear skirts, but now have several sleeveless business dresses with flared skirts that I wear with cardigans or boleros (or something in between) and they look great open but when buttoned up, I'll often get complimented on my skirt! I love them because they are more comfortable than a skirt and top combo that bunches up and make twice as much washing. Hair, Makeup, Skincare, Fitness, and Fragrance ![]()
